INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

This 10 Inch inline refrigerator water filter is designed for refrigerators with automatic ice makers and plumbed coffee makers, water coolers and Under the Counter Ice Machines with ¼" outside diameter copper or plastic tubing. It connects to your water line and refrigerator with ¼” compression fittings. It comes with 2 fittings, 2 ferrells and 2 compression nuts. Simply screw the 1 fitting into each end of the water filter. The arrow indicates the direction of water flow. To install, simply push the 1/4 inch compression nut on the plastic or copper tubing first, followed by pushing on the 1/4 inch ferrell. Next step is to attach that to the flow imput end of filter. Before completing the installation, you should to flush the cartridge into a pail for several minutes (3 to 4 gallons) to remove the carbon fines (carbon particles) from the new cartridge. Then connect the output to the refrigerator.
