The 4396510 is for Whirlpool / KitchenAid / Sears-Kenmore(106.series) / Roper and Estate side by side refrigerators with the filter Located at the Lower(thru grill) Kickplate. Requires a 'Quarter-Turn' to install and remove. Reduces Lead, Mercury, Benzene, Toxaphene, Asbestos, Cysts, Turbidity, Atrazine, bad taste, odor, chlorine, dirt and rust. Does not remove flouride from your water. Mostly used for Untreated (Well) Water Applications. For Treated (City) Water Applications, use the Cheaper 4396508 water filter. Rated at 2-4 Months.
